Hindu National Health Network | Hindu NHS Network

The Hindu National Health Network (HNHN) is a national, community-led initiative dedicated to supporting Hindu staff, patients, and communities within the UK’s National Health Service (NHS). Rooted in the timeless principles of Hindu culture of service (seva), non-violence (ahimsa), compassion (karuna), and duty (dharma)—we work to ensure that the Hindu voice is heard, respected, and celebrated across the NHS.
Founded by healthcare professionals and community leaders, HNHN is driven by the belief that true healthcare honours not just the Hindu NHS Network body, but also the mind and spirit. Our mission is to promote culturally competent care, advocate for Hindu representation in NHS leadership, and create a supportive environment for Hindu staff to thrive.
We are a growing network of:
NHS doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, and staff who proudly identify with the Hindu faith
Chaplaincy leaders and spiritual advisors supporting patients in moments of need
Community volunteers helping bring healthcare and faith Hindu National Health Network together
Advocates and educators working to embed Hindu perspectives in NHS strategies
Students and professionals finding voice and community within healthcare
